Curved table seating chart — 40 guests
A half-round head table, two serpentine runs and two rounds of eight.By Ovidiu, founder of SeatPlanning · Updated October 21, 2026Why this layout
Curved tables buy you two things a grid of rounds cannot. A half-round head table puts the whole wedding party on one continuous arc facing the room, with nobody stranded on an end seat. The serpentine runs then seat eight along a single flowing line instead of splitting them across two tables, which keeps a group of friends together and leaves a clear path to the dance floor between the two arcs.
How to use it
- Open the template — the half-round head table, both serpentines and the two rounds are already placed.
- Import your RSVP list, or type guest names straight into the seats.
- Add a seat to a serpentine and it lengthens on its own; move whoever needs moving, then export to PDF. Free exports carry a small watermark.
