Classroom seating chart — 30 students
Five rows of six facing the whiteboard, numbered front to back. Why this layout
Rows of six rather than a grid of desks means you can walk between any two rows without asking a student to move, which is most of what a seating plan is for day to day. Numbering the rows front to back rather than by table name matters when you're reading the chart at speed with a class in front of you.
How to use it
- Open the template — five rows of six already face the board.
- Import your class roster, or type student names one seat at a time.
- Rearrange for pairings or behaviour, then export to PDF. Free exports carry a small watermark.
