What is an Event Pass?
An Event Pass is a one-time purchase that gives premium features and higher limits to a single chart, for a limited time, without a subscription.
If you only need premium features for one event, you don't have to subscribe to a paid plan. An Event Pass gives a single chart a temporary boost instead.
You can buy one directly from the chart that needs it, which applies it right away, or buy a credit from your account's Billing page and apply it to a chart whenever you're ready. See Buy and use an Event Pass for the steps.
What it gives you
An Event Pass raises the limits and turns on premium features for the chart it's applied to, such as more room for tables and seats, or export and collaboration features normally reserved for paid plans. What exactly is included can change over time, so the pricing page is the best place to check current details.
How it's scoped
Once applied, an Event Pass only affects that one chart. Your account plan and your other charts are unaffected. If you organize several events, you can buy a separate Event Pass for each one that needs it, or subscribe instead if most of your charts need the same boost.
How long it lasts
An Event Pass is active for a limited time on that chart. See the pricing page for how long a pass currently runs.
It's tied to the chart once applied
An unused Event Pass credit isn't tied to anything, you choose which chart to apply it to. Once it's applied, though, it belongs to that chart: deleting the chart consumes the pass along with it, and there's no way to move it to a different chart afterward.
