Export limits and watermarks
What you get from a free export versus a paid one, and how an Event Pass unlocks a clean export for a single chart.
Every plan can export something, but what you get depends on whether your chart is on a free plan, a paid plan, or covered by an Event Pass.
What the free plan gives you
On the free plan, PDF exports, both the guest-list template and the floor plan, download as a watermarked preview. This is enough to check your layout and share a rough version, but it's not meant to be your final print.
Excel export doesn't have a free version at all. If your chart is on the free plan, you'll see an upgrade prompt instead of a download.
What paid plans and an Event Pass include
Upgrading your plan, or applying an Event Pass to a single chart, removes the watermark from your PDF exports and unlocks Excel export. From that point on, every export for that chart is clean and ready to use, with no extra steps at export time.
An Event Pass is a good fit if you're only running one event and don't want an ongoing subscription. It unlocks the same clean exports as a paid plan, just scoped to that one chart. See what an Event Pass is for how it works and how to get one.
Checking what your chart currently has
The Export page shows you which state you're in. If you see a watermark on the preview or an Upgrade to Export button instead of a download, your chart isn't covered by a paid plan or an Event Pass yet. For exact plan details and current pricing, check the pricing page.
Where to go next
- Export a guest-list PDF to see the watermark and upgrade prompt in context.
- Export a floor-plan PDF for the vector layout export.
- What is an Event Pass? if you only need premium exports for one event.
