Why this layout

Most templates decide your event for you. This one does not: five plain tables of eight, no dance floor, no stage, no colour, nothing named after an occasion. It is the right starting point when your room does not look like a wedding or a classroom — a fundraiser, a rehearsal dinner, a village hall booking. Rectangular tables rather than rounds because they tile predictably: you can push two together, line them along a wall, or split them into a U without the geometry fighting you, which is harder to do once you have committed to rounds.

How to use it

  1. Open the template — five tables of eight, already placed.
  2. Type names into the seats, or import them from a spreadsheet.
  3. Add, move or delete tables until it matches your room, then export to PDF. Free exports carry a small watermark.
