Start from a layout template
Arrange your tables into a common room layout, like a classroom, theater, or banquet setup, in one step instead of dragging each table into place yourself.
Dragging a dozen tables into a neat classroom grid or a horseshoe by hand takes a while. Layout templates do that arranging for you, so you can spend your time on the details instead.

What a layout template does
A layout template repositions the tables already on your canvas into a common room setup, such as a classroom, theater, banquet, cabaret, trade show, boardroom, U shape, or hollow square. It only moves tables. Seats, guests, table size, and everything else about each table stay the same.
Apply a layout template
- Make sure you have at least one table on the canvas. If you don't, add one from the toolbar first.
- Open the Layout Templates panel from the canvas sidebar.
- Browse the available layouts. Each one shows a small preview so you can see the shape before you commit.
- Pick a spacing option if you want tables closer together or further apart.
- Select the layout you want, then select Apply Layout.
Your tables snap into the new arrangement right away. Use the fit-to-view control afterward to see the whole result.
If you're just starting a chart
The chart creation wizard also lets you pick a starting layout while setting up a brand new chart, so you don't have to build from an empty canvas. You can still open the layout templates panel in the editor later if you want to try a different arrangement.
