Chart settings overview

A map of everything you can manage after a chart is created: Chart Settings, Seats Management, RSVP Management, collaborators, and email invitations.

Once a chart exists, everything you set up in the wizard, plus a lot more, lives in one place: the chart's settings. This article is a map of what's there so you know where to go.

  1. 1Jump between sections: chart info, seats, RSVP, collaborators, and more.
  2. 2Edit your event name, description, location, and date.
Chart settings: everything about one event lives here.

Chart Settings

This is where your event's name, description, date, and location live after the wizard. Update any of them at any time, and the changes carry through to your public RSVP page if you have one. This is also where you can turn on Public View, a read-only link anyone can open without signing in (you can also turn it on, and add a password, from the Share button on the canvas toolbar). See Share a read-only chart (public view) for details.

Seats Management

Seats Management opens on your guest list, with each guest's RSVP and claim status. A second tab, Seat Configuration, is where you set whether last name, email, and phone are required, and add your own custom questions. This is the same configuration from Choose which guest fields to collect, and you can adjust it any time, even after guests are already seated.

RSVP Management

This section is where you choose your RSVP mode, watch responses roll in, and check response analytics. It has three tabs: Dashboard for the guest list and responses, Analytics for response rates, and RSVP Configuration for switching between Manual, Public RSVP, and Digital Ticket & QR Entry modes. If you haven't set this up yet, start with Choosing an RSVP mode.

RSVP Pages

A separate section lets you style the public page your guests see when they RSVP or view the chart, things like colors, fonts, and a logo, so it matches your event.

Email Invitations

If your plan supports it, this is where you send invitation emails to the guests already on your list and pick a template for them. You can only email guests already in your roster, not arbitrary addresses.

Collaborators

Invite other people to help build the chart. Only the chart owner can send invitations, and each collaborator's role decides what they're able to do, for example, whether they can edit the canvas or just view it.

Usage & Limits and the Danger Zone

Usage & Limits shows how much of your plan's capacity you're using, such as tables, seats, and collaborators. A separate Danger Zone section holds actions that can't be undone, clearing the canvas or deleting the chart, and only the owner can use them.

Who can change what

The chart owner can edit everything: chart information, required guest fields, custom fields, collaborators, and destructive actions in the Danger Zone. Collaborators can work within the boundaries their role allows, usually adding and arranging seats and elements, but chart-level settings stay with the owner. If a setting looks grayed out to you, that's why.
