Using SeatPlanning day to day
SeatPlanning is a browser-based tool, so there's nothing to install on any device. Building a seating chart, dragging tables around, and organizing a big guest list works best on a laptop or tablet where you have more screen space. That said, plenty of day-of tasks, checking RSVPs, looking up a guest, scanning a ticket at the door, work fine from a phone.
Your data
Your charts, guest lists, and RSVP responses belong to your account. Only you and the collaborators you specifically invite can see them, based on the role you give each person. Nothing is public unless you turn on a public view or RSVP link and share it yourself. You can download a copy of your data from your account at any time, and delete your account if you decide to stop using SeatPlanning.
Trying it for free
You don't need a credit card to get started. Open the free demo for a no-signup preview of the canvas, or create a free account, which is a genuine plan with no expiry date, just lower limits than the paid tiers. Upgrade whenever you actually need more room or a paid feature.
Billing, cancellations, and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling doesn't cut you off immediately: you keep your plan's features until the period you already paid for ends, then your account moves to the free plan's limits. If something went wrong with a charge, contact support with your account details soon after it happened and the team will help.
