Turn on public RSVP
Switch your chart to Public RSVP, generate your invitation link, and share it so guests can find their name and respond on their own.
Public RSVP lets guests confirm or decline on their own, from a link you share. No public page and no email invitations, just one link that does the work for you.
Switch to Public RSVP
- Open your chart's RSVP settings (RSVP Management).
- Select the RSVP Configuration tab.
- Choose the Public RSVP card from the three RSVP Type options.
- Confirm the change. Because this updates what guests see right away, SeatPlanning asks you to confirm before applying it.
Get your invitation link
If this is the first time you have turned on Public RSVP, a prompt asks you to enable the public invitation link too. Select Enable Public Link and SeatPlanning generates a unique link and copies it to your clipboard in one step.
If you already had a link from before, or you skipped that prompt, you can generate one anytime from the Public Invitation Link panel next to your RSVP settings.
- Look for the Invitation Link field.
- If it is empty, select Generate Invitation Link.
- Once the link appears, select the copy icon next to it to copy it to your clipboard.
The link looks something like yourdomain.com/invite/, followed by a unique code for your chart.
Share it
Paste the link anywhere your guests will see it: a text message, an email, your event website, or a social post. When a guest opens it, they land on your RSVP page, search for their name, and confirm or decline.
Responses land on your guest list as they come in, so you can check who has replied at any time.
If you need a fresh link
The same Public Invitation Link panel lets you replace or disable the link:
- Select Regenerate Link to swap in a new link. The old one stops working right away and the new one takes over. Existing RSVP responses are not affected.
- Select the trash icon next to it and confirm to Revoke Link instead, if you want to shut off access without immediately generating a replacement. Guests can't open the RSVP page again until you generate a new link, but responses already collected stay on your guest list.
