A guest didn't get the invitation email
Start with spam, then check the address saved on the guest's seat. A wrong or undeliverable address is the most common reason an invitation never lands.
Before anything else, ask the guest to check their spam or junk folder. It is by far the most common reason an invitation seems to have vanished, and it takes them seconds to confirm.
Check the address on file
- Open Seats Management, which opens on your guest list.
- Find the guest in the list.
- Confirm the email address on their seat is spelled correctly.
If the address was wrong, fix it and save. An email sent to a mistyped address will never arrive, no matter how many times you resend it.
Understand skipped addresses
If an email address has bounced before or looks invalid, SeatPlanning skips sending to it rather than repeatedly trying an address that will not work. That guest's invitation stays unsent until you correct the address on their entry.
Send their invitation again
Once the address is right, send the invitation again from Email Invitations. Choose the recipient group that includes this guest and send, and they get a fresh invitation at the corrected address.
If your chart uses QR entry and the guest has already confirmed and claimed a seat, you can resend their ticket directly instead: in Seats Management, find the guest in the list and choose Resend ticket email.
If it still doesn't arrive
Ask the guest to add your sending address to their contacts, and check whether their email provider is known for filtering unfamiliar senders aggressively. Keeping your guest list free of typos and stale addresses is the biggest factor in invitations landing reliably.
Where to go next
- Send email invitations for the full sending flow.
- Deliverability: bounces, unsubscribes and spam for more on keeping your list clean.
- I can't send email invitations if the send button itself is not working.
